France

Ok so France... France was great, we started off in Paris did some great sightseeing, and had a brilliant evening at a French dinner followed by a cabaret called Nouvelle Eve, which was a good laugh. Then a small group of us went on to a club near the cabaret which was possibly one of the best nights out I had in the whole of contiki, coz we still didn't know each other very well and it was all such random fun. I ended up dancing on top of the bar at this club.. just another proud moment of mine!

Then we moved into the Beaujolais region and ended up staying at a Chateau there, loads of beautiful scenery so we had quite a relaxing two days there which was nice after Paris. On our second night there they held a pimps and prostitutes party in our honour, which was another highlight because everyone went to such an effort and it was such good value. However the boys as always completely showed us up, but we gave it a good go.

This is Kate, Jess Loz and me all ready to go down to the Cave, which is their nightclub at the Chateau looking uhhh, classy?? Well to be fair we do look classy in comparison to some of the boys...

...such as Aaron (suit) and Case (gimp). These two were by far the winners, simply because no one could figure out quite why Case had decided to pack black duct tape in the first place....

This is me with Shane who was by far the prettiest in the room, you can't see it in this photo but he actually had a breadstick sticking out the bottom of his skirt, it gave quite a few quite a scare. I ended up with a lump in my head after he whacked me with it.

Then next day a little worse for wear we moved on to the French Riviera, where we spent one evening in Monaco drinking cocktails going to the casino and generally trying to look much posher than we are, but lots of fun, and oh my god some of the cars they had there, these people are just unbelievably rich. The next day we had a look around Nice and Cannes which was cool.

And to finish my brief overview of France I thought I'd leave you with this photo of ice creams in Nice purely for the random factor. This gelati shop had loads of yummy flavours... but right at the end they had a collection of the more unusual ones, including, Cactus, Avocado, beer flavoured, lavender flavoured and so on. Why? Why would you want basil and tomato flavoured gelati??

Next we went to Italy!
